MARFLOC® PRIMARY COAGULANTS & COAGULANT AIDS
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
MARFLOC® is a multi-functional, blend of low molecular weight, cationic, organic substrates, supplied as and aqueous solution.
PRINCIPLE USES
MARFLOC® coagulants are a high performance replacement for inorganic coagulants, including Alum, Ferric Sulfate and Ferric Chloride in wastewater treatment. MARFLOC® was designed specifically for the treatment of wastewaters containing various colors/dyes, emulsions, heavy metal, oil/grease, phosphates, and other suspended solids. MARFLOC® is also effective in breaking emulsions and lowering COD, BOD, and Color of wastewaters.
MARFLOC® will coagulate/flocculate many wastewaters that cannot be effectively treated using inorganic coagulants and will remove a wider range of contaminants than either organic or inorganic coagulant alone.
MARFLOC® can be utilized as a finishing aid for biological treatment systems to assist in color/dye, metal and suspended solids removal prior to clarification. It is also highly effective in chemical pretreatment systems for removing pollutants by precipitation, or as a primary coagulant and/or flocculent in industrial applications.

APPLICATION
MARFLOC® is intended for use with automated control systems, using chemical pumps that feed the reagent directly from the shipping container into the wastewater stream. The reagent should be fed at a point in the system where rapid and thorough mixing can occur. MARFLOC® exhibits optimum performance at a pH range between 6.0 and 10.0.
